The acquisition of 2D identified prospects in New Mexico. Based on geological review and further geophysical surveys, Alpha will pursue the leasing of acreage in which approximately 50 million barrels of potential reserves have been identified. Once leases have been acquired, Alpha will select two prospects for drilling.
Based on licensing and reprocessing of existing 2D seismic and conducting additional geophysical surveys as needed, Alpha will pursue leasing on up to two Granite Wash prospects. Should Alpha be able to lease both prospects, success could yield results from 4 to 11 million barrels oil recoverable. Alpha has an option to purchase additional prospects in the area. These additional prospects could result in an additional 15 to 40 million barrels of oil recoverable.
